Here are a few tips when using essential oils:
- Zest from a citrus fruit can be replaced with 10 – 15 drops of EO
- 1 Tablespoon of a savory spice is equal to ½ to 1 drop of EO
- Less than 1 teaspoon dip a toothpick in the oil and swirl it in the recipe.
The only thing that can limit you is your own imagination. Just remember that essential oils are more potent than fresh herbs.
